Starting June 25, 2025, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will begin enforcing a new guidance regarding English language proficiency for commercial truck drivers. This means that drivers who cannot adequately speak, read, and understand English may be placed out of service during roadside inspections.
